My American moon moth hatched out, unfortunately the other cocoons remain stubbornly dormant so it is doomed to a life of celibacy.

Caterpillar coat crisis.

It was only when I came back from the shops that I realised that I had been wearing a caterpillar under my coat. Another day, another caterpillar catastrophe.

Serving Suggestion 3

These succulent Eri caterpillars make a tasty light supper served enticingly on a vintage platter. I reared the caterpillars myself, and was lucky to find the platter at an auction at Curr and Dewar, Dundee.
